Biography:

Born in Canberra, Whitfeld represented Australia at the Oceania Rugby 7s Championships as an 18-year-old, before representing her country again at the World Sevens Series a year later.

After jumping codes to rugby league in 2022, Whitfeld was a revelation in her first full season in the NRLW in 2023, being named the Dally M Winger of the Year and picking up Tackle of the Year, as well as being selected for Australian PM’s XIII and Jillaroos teams.

In her second game with the Tigers, Whitfeld made 21 runs for 292 metres, the second-most running metres by any player in the history of the NRLW.
