The Greymouth product spent the 2020 pre-season on a training block with the Cowboys before returning to the Blackhawks only to have the season cancelled by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Neame was selected to make his NRL debut against the Tigers in Round 22 of 2021 alongside Jeremiah Nanai.
The 22-year-old was named in the Kiwis extended squad for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup before making his International debut in the 2023 Pacific Championships.
