North Queensland Toyota Cowboys fans are lovin’ it with the club announcing it will continue its partnership with McDonald’s, locking in a multi-year extension until at least 2027.

Announced at the Cowboys first home game of the season against the Sharks, the global quick service restaurant leader will remain as major partner of the Cowboys NRL and NRLW programs, with the iconic Golden Arches to continue to feature on the back of the NRL playing shorts, as well as appear on the club’s media backdrop.

With the partnership set to reach the 15-year mark, fans attending the McDonald’s match day against the Sharks were given further reason to celebrate with the popular Surprize Fries promotion seeing everyone in Bays 132 and 135 rewarded with the World Famous McDonald’s fries.

Cowboys Chief Commercial Officer Dean Payne said the club was delighted to continue to build the relationship with a long-term partner.

“We’re thrilled to be extending our partnership with McDonald’s, who have been loyal partners to our club and community for over a decade,” he said.

“McDonald’s are an iconic brand, known and loved by families across the world, and it is fantastic that we can continue to work side-by-side to deliver great rewards for our Cowboys members and fans,

“Our supporters are spread far and wide, and under this extended partnership, the Cowboys and Macca’s will carry on working together to boost our joint contribution to regional communities in our footprint for some time to come.”

Mary Vrancic, McDonalds’ Senior Marketing Director said McDonald’s were proud to be extending their partnership with the Cowboys, reflecting the impact of the club in the North Queensland region.

“North Queenslanders have a special connection with footy for the experiences and moments it has created over the decades.

“Macca’s is passionate about playing an active role in our communities and supporting the love of the great game across Australia.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with the Cowboys and look forward to another fantastic season,” she said.

Cowboys members and fans can continue to enjoy the benefits of the McCafé Monday and Mac for a Match promotions, allowing fans to receive a free Big Mac should the Cowboys score 19+ points at a home game, with members able to claim a free McCafé beverage following a Cowboys away game.
