Cowboys break full season member record
The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have achieved their highest-ever full season membership, surpassing the previous record of 10,000 set in 2024.
To date, 11,242 full season members have signed up marking another milestone in the club’s proud history.
Support for the Cowboys took off in record speed, with members renewing in force and a raft of new members securing a seat of their own at Queensland Country Bank Stadium for the club’s 30th anniversary season.
An achievement which highlights the unwavering passion of Cowboys supporters, not just in Townsville but across the region, with members travelling from as far west as Mount Isa for all 12 home games.
Cowboys CEO Jeff Reibel praised the dedication and loyalty of the club’s members.
“To have so many full-season members on board before the season even starts is incredible,” Reibel said.
“Our members are the lifeblood of our community-owned club. Whether you have been with us since ‘95 or just joined this year, you play a key role in our success.”
“Breaking our membership record for a second consecutive year speaks volumes about the commitment and loyalty of our fans.”
“With the NRL season only a few weeks away, plenty of celebrations planned for our milestone year, and our third NRLW season to come, there is no better time to get behind the Cowboys.”
Flexible, supporter and away packages have also seen an increase, giving fans a chance to show their support from afar and around their schedule.
“With 10 of the 12 home games locked in for the Saturday time slot, we hope this makes it easier for fans to get to a game,” Reibel said.
“But for those who can’t make it to every match we have single-game, multi-game and supporter membership also available.”
Cowboys Head Coach Todd Payten emphasized the importance of packed stadium on game day.
“The immense support we receive makes all the difference and pushes us to go harder,” Payten said.
“We know our members travel great distances, so we owe it to them to give it our all for 80 minutes.”
All Cowboys members will be celebrated at our Round 11 clash against the Manly Sea Eagles.
