Suncorp join Cowboys in new partnership

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will partner with Suncorp for the next two years.

The new deal announced today will see the leading insurer become the Cowboys Official General Insurance Partner, a Major Partner of our NRL and NRLW programs, and a partner of the Cowboys Community Foundation.

For over 100 years Suncorp has been helping Australians protect what matters most through trusted insurance products.

Committed to building more resilient communities, Suncorp also has a proud history of supporting sport, stadiums and community programs in Queensland and across the country.

As our exclusive general insurance partner, Suncorp will be helping players and fans with home, contents and other insurance needs for the next two seasons.

Cowboys CEO Jeff Reibel is delighted to welcome Suncorp on board in such a significant time for the club.

“Our partnership with Suncorp represents a clear vision and strong alignment of values between our two organisations,” Reibel said.

“North Queenslanders are known for our toughness and resilience, and Suncorp have always been there, helping when people need it most.”

“We are looking forward to a successful partnership, working with a proudly Queensland brand to make a difference both on and off the field.”

Suncorp Group CEO Steve Johnston said the insurer was committed to strengthening regional job opportunities.

“Suncorp is a proud Queensland organisation, and today’s announcement reinforces our commitment and investment in our home state,” Mr Johnston said.

“North Queensland is vibrant and growing, and we could think of no better partner than the Cowboys to help us support this important region.”

The agreement will also align Suncorp as the Presenting Partner of our Game Participation Program, with branding to feature on Game Participation apparel, hats, water bottles, vehicles and footballs.

Further highlighting Suncorp’s commitment to Queensland, the partnership coincides with the announcement of the new Suncorp Regional Hub in Townsville.

Set to open up jobs for an extra 120 people in the region, the Hub will ensure Queensland remains the home of Suncorp with a guarantee there will always be more Suncorp jobs in Queensland than any other state.
