The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have agreed to release prop D’Jazirhae Pua’avase from the remainder of his playing contract to take up an opportunity with another NRL club.
Pua’avase joined the Cowboys Top 30 in 2024 after graduating from the Young Guns program.
The 21-year-old appeared in the 27 Queensland Cup games over the course of three seasons, including 17 for the Mackay Cutters in 2024.
“We’d like to thank D’Jazirhae for his contributions to our club during both his time in the Young Guns program and the top squad this year,” Cowboys General Manager of Football Micheal Luck said.
“The Cowboys wish him the best of luck for the future."
