North Queensland Toyota Cowboys forwards Tiana Raftstrand-Smith and Lillian Yarrow have been ruled out of Saturday’s final regular season game against the Newcastle Knights at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Raftstrand-Smith, who has been a fixture in the second row for the Cowboys, suffered a concussion in last weekend’s clash with the Roosters.
Yarrow picked up a high ankle sprain following a hip-drop tackle in the first half.
Tallisha Harden has been named to start in Yarrow’s place, while Shellie Long comes back into the team in the second row.
Krystal Blackwell has been named on the wing after overcoming a quad injury with Vitalina Naikore reverting to the reserves.
Saturday’s game is part of an NRLW double header at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, with the Dragons to face the Broncos at 1.30pm, followed by the Cowboys and Knights clash at 3.15pm.
