North Queensland Toyota Cowboys NRLW Head Coach Ricky Henry has retained Krystal Blackwell at fullback for Sunday’s battle with the Broncos at Totally Workwear Stadium.
After switching between fullback and wing to start the season, Blackwell produced a brilliant performance in Saturday’s win over the Raiders, running for 203 metres, including a scintillating length of the field effort in the first half.
Vitalina Naikore remains on the wing after her two try performance, with Fran Goldthorp named in the reserves as she attempts to return from a back injury.
Harata Butler again starts in the front row after her late elevation to the starting side last weekend.
Shaniah Power joins the interchange to replace Makenzie Weale, who is again sidelined through concussion.
New signing Lavinia Tauhalaliku has been named in the reserves after joining the club from Manly’s Harvey Norman NSW Premiership Team. Tauhalaliku is a powerfully built outside back who recently scored five tries in a victory over the Rabbitohs.
Sunday’s game kicks off at 1.45pm
