Our big Defence Day Out!
CHILLED: Our annual Defence Day Out for 500 Defence personnel and their families was a great way to end the week, with fun, food and catching up with friends before the Cowboys v Tigers NRL game. Funded by Defence Australia's Family Support Funding program, the event was also a great chance to hear about gratitude, empathy and mindfulness from Cowboy Zac Laybutt and Cowboys community ambassador Ray Thompson.
North Queensland Cowboys respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
