Tom Dearden has been named the Cowboys Members Player of the Year for 2024, an honour announced during the Cowboys' dominant 42-4 victory over the Raiders this weekend.
It was a memorable occasion for the proud Mackay product, who also celebrated his 100th NRL game.
Dearden claims the title for the second year in a row, after receiving a record number of votes from dedicated members throughout the season.
The young playmaker's outstanding form continues to shine, crossing for eight tries, delivering nine try assists, and making 10 line breaks over the 2024 season.
His unforgettable try-saving tackle on Selwyn Cobbo in Round 4 against the Broncos remains a tackle of the year contender.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2. In these terms and conditions, we will refer to the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys as ‘the Promoter’, ‘Cowboys’, ‘us’, ‘we', ‘our’. We will refer to a member as ‘member’, ‘you’ and ‘your’.
3. In these terms and conditions, we will refer to this promotion as 'Members Player of the Year', 'MPOTY' and 'the Promotion'.
4. By entering this Promotion, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and will comply.
5. Nothing in these term and conditions amends, limits or excludes any rights or remedies that an entrant may have under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot lawfully be amended, limited or excluded.
6. The Promotion commences at 9.00am AEST, Wednesday 17 August 2024 and closes at 12.00pm AEST, Thursday 15 August 2024.
7. Only 2024 Cowboys consumer members (including NRLW Cowboys members) are eligible to vote in the Promotion.
8. Cowboys members must have joined for the 2024 season prior to 3.00pm, Friday 9 August 2024 to be eligible to vote in the Promotion.
9. Cowboys members may only vote for a current North Queensland Toyota Cowboys NRL Playing Squad member at the time voting opens.
10. Any squad members signed to the Cowboys 2024 Playing Squad after voting commences will not be eligible to win the Cowboys Members Player of the Year 2024.
11. NRLW Playing Squad members are not eligible to be voted as NRL Cowboys Members Player of the Year 2024.
12. Cowboys development players, previous players, coaching staff or corporate staff are not eligible to be voted as Cowboys Members Player of the Year 2024.
13. There is a maximum of one entry per eligible member.
14. To enter, eligible members must submit a full and correct vote by 12.00pm, Thursday 15 August 2024.
15. Votes are deemed to be submitted at the time they are received by the Promoters database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected votes, claims or correspondence, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, technical disruptions, network congestion, communications failure or otherwise.
16. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including, without limitation, costs incurred.
17. The random draw for the signed jersey will be conducted and the winner contacted by the Promoter by phone during business hours on Thursday 15 August 2024.
18. By entering the competition, you agree to participate in a live interview at Cowboys v Raiders on Saturday 17 August 2024 at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, if we choose to do so, and at a time and location advised by us.
19. The jersey awarded to the winner of the random draw will be a pre-signed, men's Cowboys jersey in a size to be chosen by us, provided with a certificate of authenticity.
20. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, and is non-transferable.
21. We reserve the right to require the return of the jersey if the winners’ membership account falls into arrears or is cancelled for any reason. In the event that the member cannot or does not return the jersey, we will issue an invoice for the amount of $500, which equates to the minimum retail cost of the jersey with signatures.
22. If any part of a Prize is unavailable, for any reason (including unforeseeable or other special circumstances), the Promoter, in its absolute and sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any part of the Prize for a prize of equal value and/or specification.
23. To the extent permitted by law the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Prize and no compensation will be payable if, for any reason, the Winner is unable to use the Prize as stated.
24. If there is a dispute as to claiming the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, to determine the outcome of the dispute.

25. You must agree to have your email address added to the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys marketing subscriptions list to be eligible to vote.
26. You can unsubscribe from the Cowboys marketing subscriptions list at any time via the Cowboys preference centre or contacting us on 1300 462 692 (opt 1).
27. By voting, you give consent to Cowboys Rugby League Football Limited, its affiliates and agents, to use your image and likeness and/or any interview statements in our publications, advertising or other media activities (including the Internet), without compensation or other remuneration, now or in the future.
