North Queensland Toyota Cowboys Head Coach Todd Payten has named his five State of Origin stars in the reserves for Sunday’s clash with South Sydney at Accor Stadium.
Murray Taulagi, Valentine Holmes, Jeremiah Nanai, Reuben Cotter and Reece Robson will all feature in Wednesday night’s Game 2 at Suncorp Stadium with a decision on their availability for the Rabbitohs fixture to be made following their return to North Queensland.
Heilum Luki will miss the match after sustaining a facial fracture in the victory over the Panthers. Young gun Kulikefu Finefeuiaki has been elevated to the starting side to replace Luki in the second-row, with Jack Gosiewski named to return from a throat injury via the interchange.
The remainder of Payten’s 17 remains unchanged from the golden point win over Penrith.
Sunday’s game kicks off at 4.05pm.
