North Queensland Toyota Cowboys second-rower Heilum Luki joined The Rush Hour with A.B and Elliott on Wednesday to discuss his road to recovery from his ACL injury sustained last year.
"It was definitely a hard and long process," the 21-year-old said.
"Mentally, it didn't really shock me as much. I guess I sort of told myself to just get over it quickly. What happened has happened and there is not much I can do about it."
Returning off the bench last Saturday against the Warriors, Luki said that he felt like he was making his NRL debut all over again.
"I was sitting on the sideline and I had the nervous shakes.
"I honestly felt like I was debuting agin."
