Class leading heavy vehicle manufacturer Freightliner Australia is the official Training Apparel Partner of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys.
The partnership will see the Freightliner brand featured prominently on the Cowboys’ training apparel, to be worn by the squad at daily training sessions and boot camps.
Cowboys CEO Jeff Reibel said Freightliner’s partnership with the club was the product of a ‘growing legacy’ between the two brands.
Freightliner hits high gear as official Cowboys Training Apparel Partner
“Freightliner first joined us as a corporate box member two years ago, evolving to become a Gold Partner in 2022 and now our official Training Apparel Partner for 2023,” Mr Reibel said.
“It makes the team extraordinarily proud to see a corporate member grow to become such a pivotal contributor to the squad’s long-term success, as it shows Freightliner has recognised the effort the boys have invested day-in, day-out to build the Cowboys name into a real force in the league.”
“Equally, the Freightliner brand is built on strong values; being the smartest, safest and most driver focused in the industry, which echoes all that the Cowboys stand for,” he said.
“That’s why it’s no surprise our relationship continues to go from strength-to-strength – together, we work hard and don’t take success for granted.”
Director Greg Jackson said the quality and features of Freightliner’s heavy vehicles, rigorously engineered to Australia’s tough conditions were ‘unmatched’.
“Freightliner trucks are built on a ‘never-say-die’ attitude, performing in the most challenging environments while also providing drivers with cab’s that offer the ultimate in comfort and safety,” Greg said.
“Whether traversing Australia’s vast network of highways, rugged rural communities or immense mining and construction sites, Freightliner trucks just keep pushing for their drivers and the businesses behind them,” he said.
“Since our first association with the Cowboys we’ve seen these values reflected in the squad’s efforts, both on match day and in their training throughout the season, making our decision to become the official Training Apparel Partner an easy one.”
“We’re thrilled our relationship has grown into a major partnership that will support the boys in every moment of their preparations for the 2023 NRL Premiership season.”
