Details for Cowboys Preliminary Final

The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will host the first NRL Preliminary Final ever to be played in the region and at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Following last night’s win against the Sharks, Cowboys fans are lining up for the hottest ticket in town, with a home NRL Preliminary Final locked in for Friday, September 23 at 7.50pm.

While tickets are not yet on sale for the blockbuster game, fans throughout Australia are scrambling to book flights and accommodation in Townsville ahead of a historic night of footy at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

The NRL has announced the on-sale date for tickets will be Monday, September 19.

Before tickets go on sale for one of the biggest nights North Queensland has ever seen, Cowboys fans and members are urged to prepare if they want to secure a ticket.

Cowboys members pre-sale windows

Cowboys members will receive priority access to tickets during a pre-sale window before tickets go on sale to the public. The public will be invited to purchase tickets following the members' pre-sale, likely the following day.

Full season members

Full season members receive first priority access to a pre-sale window at a time to be announced.

To take advantage of the pre-sale, full season Cowboys members will be required to use their priority access password (‘AAN Code’) via a link to their pre-sale. Full season members have been emailed instructions on finding their unique AAN code.

Members will be limited to purchasing eight tickets per transaction using their AAN Code.

In preparation for their first priority pre-sale, full season Cowboys members are urged to obtain their AAN code from the link provided in their ‘NRL Finals Week ticketing information’ email.

They should also ensure membership@cowboys.com.au is listed as a safe-sender in their email accounts and keep a close eye on their inbox.

Multi-game, single game and supporter members

A second priority pre-sale window* will open to multi-game, single game and supporter (non-ticketed) members after the full season pre-sale, at a time to be announced.

In preparation for their second priority pre-sale, multi-game, single game and supporter members should ensure membership@cowboys.com.au is listed as a safe-sender in their email accounts and keep a close eye on their inbox.

For the second priority pre-sale, members can access tickets via the only official ticket seller for the game: www.ticketmaster.com.au/nrl. Members are urged to create an account on the Ticketmaster website as soon as possible and make a note of their log in details.

Cowboys fans (public sale)

Tickets will go on sale to the public following the members-only pre-sale windows via the only official ticket seller for the game: www.ticketmaster.com.au/nrl. Fans are urged to create an account on the Ticketmaster website as soon as possible and make a note of their log in details.

The club has warned fans should only purchase from Ticketmaster as unofficial ticket sellers may actively target fans given the hotly anticipated home final will likely to sell out.

Members of the public wanting to skip the queue can purchase a Cowboys membership to participate in the members' pre-sale windows.

Fans should note, first priority access to purchase tickets will be given to full season members while second priority access will be given to multi game, single game or supporter members.
