For the second consecutive year, Emma Manzelmann has been named North Queensland Toyota Gold Stars Player of the Year.
The 20-year-old compiled another stellar season in 2022.
A dynamic dummy half, Manzelmann was instrumental in the Gold Stars’ fairytale march to premiership glory.
In seven appearances, Manzelmann scored three tries and assisted on a further five.
She was typically outstanding in the Gold Stars’ grand final victory over the Central Queensland Capras, breaking four tackles on her way to 88 running metres and registered 23 tackles without a miss.
Manzelmann is currently playing in the NRLW with the Newcastle Knights.
