Vantage BMS has continued its long-term backing of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys in 2022, signing a unique two-year partnership to bolster the squad’s training efforts.
The deal will see the Vantage BMS logo appear throughout the Cowboys’ world-class training facility at The Hutchinson Builders Centre in Townsville, on signage and training balls.
Cowboys Chief Commercial Officer Ross Aldridge said the deal, one of few in the National Rugby League, brought the Cowboys and Vantage BMS partnership ‘full circle’ since the brands first united 28 years prior.
“At the dawn of the Cowboys, Vantage BMS co-founders Lew Brandon and the late Kevin Muspratt voluntarily invested their time and resources to prepare our playing and training fields at our previous location,” Mr Aldridge said.
“It's a poignant milestone for the Vantage BMS logo to become a beacon of our training facility in 2022 at such an exciting and dynamic time of Cowboys history.”
“The support of Vantage BMS from the outset of the Cowboys has been tremendous, with this extraordinary partnership yet another example of them finding innovative and meaningful ways to grow our club in the long term.”
Vantage BMS Managing Director Lew Brandon said the decision to move the Vantage BMS logo from the Cowboys playing jersey to the squad’s training field and footballs was a ‘natural evolution’.
“Since we’ve backed the Cowboys from the very beginning, we’ve seen their sheer grit and determination to perform at their best, which are values that resonate with the Vantage BMS team,” he said.
“And we’re not alone - Cowboys fans are some of the most passionate in the code, following every detail of the squad’s premiership campaign and making it their personal mission to rally the squad in the lead up to every game,” he said.
“Placing our logo throughout the hallowed grounds of the Cowboys’ training field is our way of showing the team that Vantage BMS are backing them in every moment of the season, not just on game day,” he said.
Like the Cowboys, Vantage BMS is a true North Queensland success story, having been established in the Burdekin in 1979 and growing to become a national provider of high-tech agricultural positioning solutions specialising in precision farming, water management, autonomy and automation.
