Jake Granville (167)
The Cowboys’ fan favourite enjoyed an outstanding bounce-back season under Todd Payten in 2021. Granville provided an instant burst of energy for North Queensland when entering games during the second half. Granville also remarkably played two games at fullback and also filled in at centre as injury cover on a number of occasions.
Reece Robson (47)
Robson started all 24 games at hooker for the Cowboys in 2021. A dynamic runner of the ball, Robson crossed for six tries last season, including in three consecutive games between Round 6 and 8.
Reuben Cotter (21)
Despite playing just 21 games in his NRL career, Cotter has emerged as a crucially important player for Todd Payten. The 22-year-old transitioned to a running forward last season, but has played the majority of his senior football as a dummy-half and will be an option in the position for Payten in 2022.
