Gilbert ruled out of Knights clash

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys forward Tom Gilbert has been ruled out of Saturday’s clash with Newcastle as he continues to isolate after Magnetic Island was declared a COVID-19 hotspot.

Gilbert returned a negative COVID-19 test, but is still in isolation as ordered by QLD Health.

Heilim Luki has been elevated to the interchange, with the NRL also granting an exemption for Corey Jensen to come into the 21-man squad in the reserves.
