The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have today agreed to grant Josh McGuire an immediate release to join another NRL club.
McGuire joined the Cowboys prior to the 2019 season and appeared in 38 games over three seasons.
“Josh had an opportunity to secure his future in Sydney and we wish him and his family well,” Cowboys Head of Football Micheal Luck said.
“Josh’s departure will further open opportunity for more game time for our talented contingent of young forwards.”
