Cowboys team list: Round 3 v Titans

Twenty-two-year-old outside back Murray Taulagi will replace suspended winger Kyle Feldt for Sunday afternoon’s XXXX Derby clash with the Gold Coast Titans at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Taulagi has appeared in 10 games for the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys since making his NRL debut in 2019, including stellar performances in the final two games of the 2020 season.

>>> Payten: He was unlucky to miss out in Round 1

The former Junior Kangaroos rep ran for 123 metres from 12 carries and registered four tackle breaks for Mackay in Round 1 of the Queensland Cup last weekend.

Feldt accepted a two-match ban for a grade two dangerous throw and will be eligible to return in Round 5.

Reuben Cotter will wear the No.13 jersey for the first time at NRL level. Cotter was a late replacement at lock for injured Cowboys co-captain Jason Taumalolo in Round 2, registering 103 metres and 32 tackles in 54 minutes.

Lachlan Burr holds his spot on the interchange after a solid performance in his club debut against the Dragons.
