North Queensland Toyota Cowboys middle forward Jordan McLean joined Ben Dobbin on Triple M’s ‘The Rush Hour’ to discuss this year's pre-season, Saturday's trial against the Broncos, and the battle for the No.1 jersey.
"The biggest thing up here at the moment is everyone is enjoying it. It’s pretty easy to come in and do your job every day, " McLean said.
"I think this weekend will pretty much be like a round one game. Brisbane is in the same boat. They have had a tough couple of years and they have a new coach too. Everyone is vying for spots and wants to impress.
"It’s pretty neck and neck. I think this trial game they are definitely playing for that fullback spot. Hopefully all of them go out and give Toddy a big headache for round one."
