Scott Drinkwater has been named to make his return from a knee injury at fullback in the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ clash with South Sydney at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday night.
Drinkwater has been sidelined since suffering an MCL injury against the Roosters in Round 9.
The 23-year-old’s return sees Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow move to the wing with Justin O’Neill rested as he manages a knee injury.
After missing the Titans showdown, John Asiata makes his return from a knee ailment on the interchange.
Asiata’s inclusion sees young middle forward Tom Gilbert drop out of the side, with Cowboys Interim Head Coach Josh Hannay opting to rest the 20-year-old as part of his bench rotation policy.
Round 13 debutante Emry Pere holds his spot in the side after impressing in limited minutes against the Titans.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 5.30pm.
