The QRL have today confirmed that the top eight finals format introduced during this season will again return for the Queensland Cup in 2020
The draw, which was released on Friday, sees the competition get underway the same weekend at the NRL on March 14-15.

The Townsville Blackhawks open the season with a trip to North Ipswich Reserve to take on the Jets on Saturday, March 14 (5.30pm), with the Mackay Cutters hosting Norths Devils at BB Print Stadium 30 minutes later.
The Northern Pride round out the weekend with a trip to Piggabeen Sports Complex to battle the Tweed Heads Seagulls at 3pm on Sunday.
Cowboys fans will have to wait until round six for the first derby match, with the Pride hosting the Cutters at Barlow Park on Saturday, April 18 at 5pm.
Channel Nine will once again broadcast one TV match every Sunday, with the full schedule to be released shortly.
