North Queensland Toyota Cowboys centre Kurt Wiltshire had his 2019 campaign cruelly cut short in the team’s opening pre-season game against the Gold Coast Titans in February.
Wiltshire suffered an ACL injury attempting to make a tackle in the 65th minute.
The 21-year-old had run for 98 metres and made a line break before suffering the injury on his own goal.
