North Queensland Toyota Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt has hit the ground running since returning from injury in Round 9.
Feldt missed the first two months of the season with a groin injury but has quickly resumed his status as one of the NRL’s deadliest finishers.
The 27-year-old has scored five tries in six games, including a double in last weekend’s clash with the Wests Tigers, a performance which earned him Tropic Petroleum Man of the Match honours at post-match presentations at Cowboys Leagues Club.
Feldt also ran for 145 metres from 12 carries and registered two line-breaks in the Round 14 encounter.
“We were disappointed with the end result, but again I was really proud of our effort, there were some really strong performances,” Cowboys head coach Paul Green said.
“The guy we gave man of the match to put himself in the game and made some really big plays and that was Kyle Feldt.”
