North Queensland Toyota Cowboys centre Justin O’Neill remains in Canberra Hospital after suffering a severe spleen injury in Saturday’s victory over the Canberra Raiders.
O’Neill was moved from the ICU to the Acute Surgical Ward yesterday afternoon and is continuing to recuperate.
After consultation with doctors this morning, the 28-year-old is expected to remain in Canberra until at least next Thursday.
