North Queensland Toyota Cowboys legend Matt Bowen and player Sam Hoare delighted students and young footballers from across Sarina this week when they delivered training sessions and presentations as part of the final North Queensland Bulk Ports Blitz for 2018.

Matt and Sam were joined by Cowboys and NRL development staff in visiting four schools and the Sarina Crocodiles Junior Rugby League Club to run skills and drills sessions and speak on the importance of education and realising your potential at school.

As well as school visits, the group attended a luncheon with BHP at the Hay Point Coal Terminal and had Cowboys Director of Football Peter Parr speak on building high-performance teams at a business networking function on Monday night.

The two days of events were delivered in partnership with community partner North Queensland Bulk Ports as part of their community initiative to inspire and educate young people in regional communities and help them make positive life choices.
