Green: Defensive effort needs to be better
North Queensland Toyota Cowboys head coach Paul Green has made one late change to his 17 for tonight's XXXX Derby against Brisbane, with 21-year-old flyer Gideon Gela-Mosby called into the side to make his first NRL appearance since April 2017.
Gela-Mosby will replace fellow young gun Enari Tuala in the backline, with Tuala dropping back to play for Cowboys feeder club the Northern Pride in the Queensland Cup.
Gela-Mosby made his NRL debut in Round 4 of the 2017 season and went on to score three tries in four appearances.
Forward Corey Jensen returns for his first game in the top grade since Round 19, replacing Shaun Fensom (concussion) on the interchange.
Te Maire Martin continues his tenure in the No.1 jersey with Jake Clifford to again partner Johnathan Thurston in the halves.
Jensen is joined on the interchange by utility Ben Hampton and forwards John Asiata and Scott Bolton.
Tonight's game kicks off at 7.50pm.
