Wing change for Dragons clash

North Queensland Toyota Cowboys head coach Paul Green has recalled premiership-winning outside back Justin O'Neill for Saturday night's clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons at 1300SMILES Stadium.

O'Neill hasn't featured in the top grade since Round 14, but has compiled three impressive performances for the Townsville Blackhawks in the Queensland Cup and will make his NRL return on the wing, replacing Antonio Winterstein who drops to the reserves.

John Asiata holds his place in the starting side after a solid return from injury last weekend.

Asiata will again partner Scott Bolton in the front row, while Queensland duo Gavin Cooper and Coen Hess will start in the second row with Jason Taumalolo at lock.

Francis Molo re-joins the interchange after acting as 18th man in Round 18 and is joined by forwards Shaun Fensom and Corey Jensen as well as utility Ben Hampton.

Young guns Jake Clifford and Mitchell Dunn join second-rower Ethan Lowe and Winterstein on the bench.

Saturday's game kicks off at 7.30pm.
