Tackling domestic violence will once again be the focus at LGIAsuper Community Hub for the Round 11 Cowboys v Rabbitohs clash on Saturday night.

Community organisations North Queensland Women's Legal Service, Relationships Australia and the Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Women's Legal Service will be special guests at the Hub at 1300SMILES Stadium.

Since 2015, the Tackle Domestic Violence campaign has featured at a North Queensland Toyota Cowboys home game to raise awareness for domestic and family violence in our community and most importantly, where people can get help.

Located in the Western forecourt, the LGIAsuper Community Hub hosts not-for-profit organisations throughout the season to help them raise awareness for their cause.

North Queensland Women's Legal Service Principal Solicitor Sharell O'Brien said they were looking forward to once again asking the community to come together to tackle domestic violence.

"We can all work together to end domestic and family violence. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, help is available," Ms O'Brien said.

As a not-for-profit community legal service for women, the North Queensland Women's Legal Service provides free legal advice and information in the areas of family law, domestic and family violence, child protection and discrimination.

"Last year we provided over 8,000 services to women in our community. 95% of the women who access our service have or are experiencing domestic and family violence. Last year we experienced a 35% increase in women accessing our service," Ms O'Brien said.

This will be the fourth year the North Queensland Women's Legal Service team is hosted in the LGIAsuper Community Hub, and Ms O'Brien said there were a number of fans in the team who were looking forward to attending the home game.

"The atmosphere that the fans bring is amazing," she said. "We are very lucky to have such a successful national sporting team that focuses not only on football, but also contributing to advocating for change in the community."
