North Queensland Toyota Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt continued his brilliant start to the 2018 season with another dazzling performance in the Round 6 loss to the Bulldogs.
Cowboys head coach Paul Green named Feldt as Tropic Petroleum Man of the Match during post-match presentations at the Cowboys Leagues Club, in front of his teammates, club members and fans.
Feldt crossed the try line for the third consecutive game in Round 6, taking his tally to five for the season.
The 26-year-old also registered 147 running metres, four tackle-breaks, a line-break and an offload.
“I thought he was really good at both ends of the field. He did some good stuff for us coming out of our end and scored a nice try. He’s had a great start to the year,” Green said.
Feldt credited a massive off-season with helping him begin the season in a rich vein of form.
“I felt like I had a really good pre-season and that’s helped me going into the start of this season,” he said.
As a team results aren’t going our way at the moment, but I’m confident if we can build some confidence up we can turn things around pretty quickly.
The Cowboys Leagues Club is the social home of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys and the official post-match function venue after each home game.
