TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to 2025 Full Season membership, including the process to renew your 2025 membership into 2026 membership. 

Full season membership, to which these terms and conditions relate, are: Platinum Star, Diamond Star and Gold Star. These terms and conditions don't relate to Club 95 membership, which is a 'Corporate Lite' membership product.

In these terms and conditions, we will refer to the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys as ‘us’, ‘we and ‘our’. We will refer to a full season member in as a ‘full season member’, ‘Consumer member’, ‘member’, ‘you’ and ‘your’.

All membership prices set out on this website and these term and conditions are GST-inclusive.

By applying for full season membership you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and that every member listed in your membership account has read, understood and will comply with these terms and conditions.

Nothing in these terms and conditions amends, limits or excludes any rights or remedies that a member may have under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot lawfully be amended, limited or excluded.

PERMITTED USE

 1. Cowboys consumer memberships may only be used for non-commercial (personal) purposes by the Account Holder only.

2. Use of consumer membership products for any commercial purpose is prohibited; a commercial purpose is any activity with the intent to gain commercial advantage of any kind, including marketing promotions (including prizes), market research, consumer data collection, stakeholder or community engagement, educational purposes or awareness campaigns.

3. Re-sale of consumer membership products for commercial purposes, either in full, or separated into match tickets or member benefits (i.e. Cowboys Team Shop voucher) is strictly prohibited.

4. Any person found to be using a consumer membership for a commercial purpose, or having granted a third party to use a membership for a commercial purpose, will have all consumer or corporate memberships immediately cancelled without a refund, and any future applications for membership refused.

MEMBERSHIP INCLUSIONS

5. By purchasing a full season membership, you become a Consumer member of the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. 

6. We may change the name of membership categories from season-to-season or introduce new categories of membership. We may also change the price of membership from season to season.

7. If you join as a member, you will receive access to inclusions not accessible to people who purchase match tickets on a casual basis.  

8. Membership benefits and entitlements for each season and membership category are detailed on our website at cowboys.com.au/benefits.

9. Membership inclusions change from season-to-season and may differ for each category. 

10. As a full season member, you can access your membership benefits during the whole of the club’s financial year (not just during the playing season), which is 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025 for the 2025 season.

11. If demand exceeds our allocation of any benefit during a season, we reserve the right to substitute that benefit with an alternative of our choice. 

SEATING ALLOCATION

12. Full season members receive the same reserved seat for 12 'regular season' Cowboys home games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, for one season. 

13. Full season members will be provided with a plastic membership card with a barcode, which will allow you to proceed through the turnstiles and access your seat at home games.

14. A digital membership card will also be offered for members to download and use at the turnstile in place of a hard copy card.

15. If a membership card is lost or stolen, we will charge a fee of $15 to replace it. 

16. If paper tickets are requested in place of a plastic membership card or digital card, we will charge a fee of $15 per game to provide them. 

17. If you renew your membership from one season to the next, we will make our best effort to allocate you the same seat at Queensland Country Bank stadium for each season, unless you request a change or upgrade.

18. Any requests for changes to seating allocation must be made in writing to the Membership Team by emailing membership@cowboys.com.au prior to our third home game of each season.

19. New members who join for the first time will only be able to finalise seat selections after renewing members have been given first opportunity to renew, upgrade or cancel their seats. 

20.If you want to apply to become a new member, you can select your seat using the interactive seating map at the time of purchasing your membership through our website.

21. New members will be offered seats in what we consider to be the best available seats based on when the membership application is received (i.e. allocation is on a “first-in, first-served” basis). 

22. Membership seat allocation is only valid for Cowboys home games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium for the applicable membership season. Seats are not guaranteed for any other event or venue, including any NRL Finals Series matches held at Queensland Country Bank Stadium; for these events tickets must be purchased separately through the ticketing provider for these events.

PAYING FOR MEMBERSHIP

23. Full season membership can be paid in full OR on a monthly (10-month) payment plan.

24. Full season membership can be paid for by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express), Visa or MasterCard debit card, Cash, Eftpos or Cheque.

25. You should only apply for membership if you are the card holder or have the authority of the card holder. If you are not the card holder and you apply or have applied for membership, you represent and warrant to us that you have the authority of the card holder to do so.

26. Memberships purchased after any inclusions have already been delivered for the season (i.e. home games, away games, member events or competitions) will not be priced on a pro-rata basis and will be charged at the full season membership price published on the website unless otherwise offered by us.

10 MONTH PAYMENT PLANS

27. Payment plans are offered for membership and cannot be used for any other products associated with the Cowboys (i.e. Cowboys Leagues Club membership, Cowboys Team Shop  merchandise etc).

28. Payment plans are offered for a period of 10 months only. If you apply for a full season membership after 1 August, your first instalment will be a 'catch up payment' totaling all instalments missed to date.

29. Monthly payments will be deducted on or around the 15th of each month. 

30. Once established, your instalment payment schedule is fixed and may not be varied or suspended by you, unless agreed in writing by us.

32. Membership fees will appear on your credit card or bank statements with the payment description “Cowboys Membership”.

33. If any  instalment payment is declined by your card issuer, we will attempt to deduct the amount again within 48 hours after the declined payment. 

34. If a second attempt to deduct your instalment payment is declined or dishonoured:

   i.  we will contact you by email or phone to inform you of the declined transactions;

   ii. we will add a declined payment fee of $5.00 to your instalment plan (this $5.00 charge applies per declined instalment payment, per membership, per account); and

   iii. your membership and all the entitlements (including your selected seating) will be suspended until your instalment payments and declined payment charges have been paid.

35. If your instalment payments remain in arrears for more than 3 weeks at any time during the instalment plan period, we may cancel your membership. 

36. If we cancel your membership, you will be released from your payment instalment plan however you will not be entitled to a refund of any previous instalment payments paid prior to the date of cancellation.  

37. If we cancel your membership due to payment arrears, a $25 administration fee will be added to your account which must be paid in full before you may apply for any new consumer or corporate membership with us in future.

CHILDREN, CONCESSION CARDS AND COMPANIONS

38. The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys accepts government-issued companion cards for full season members.  If you hold a companion card, contact the Cowboys Membership Team on 1300 GO COWBOYS (1300 462 692 – press 1) to arrange your membership. You will need to submit a photocopy of your companion card with your membership application.

39. Valid concessions include Pensioner Concession Card Aged, Full-time Student Card, Service Pension, TPI and Companion Cards. All members must supply proof of eligibility for a concession rate when applying for a membership.

40. For the purposes of membership:

i. a child is a person 5 to 15 years of age (inclusive) at the time of the membership is purchased and a family is classified as 2 adults and 2 children.

ANNUAL RENEWAL PROCESS

41. Cowboys full season memberships are renewed automatically by us each season.

42. Our automatic renewal process is a convenient way for you to secure and pay for your season membership from season-to-season without having to re-apply each year.

43. Each year, we will automatically renew your membership into the same membership category using the payment method you have saved on file (i.e. the last payment method you used to purchase or renew membership). 

44. We will endeavour to allocate you the same same seat each season at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, subject to availability (notwithstanding changes to stadium configuration and seating availability as well as any Queensland Government capacity restrictions).

45. If we are unable to allocate you the same seats for the new season (e.g. due to a seat, bay or grandstand at the stadium being closed or ceasing to be available for whatever reason), we will offer you the best alternative seats. In this instance, you will have the option of accepting the seats we offer, selecting from other seats in that membership category or not renewing membership without penalty to you. 

46. We will give you advanced written notice of when your membership will be automatically renewed. This notice will include membership pricing for the new season, entitlements, seat allocation and how to opt-out of membership.

47. If you purchase a membership using Cash, Eftpos or Cheque, your membership will only renew if you contact us with payment for your new season product.

48. If you purchase a membership using Cash, Eftpos or Cheque and do not contact us with payment to renew, your membership will lapse and you will surrender your seat.

49. If you allow your membership to lapse and you decide to re-join in future, you will be required to reapply for membership as if you were a new member.

50. If you wish to update your payment details before the renewal process, simply visit your My Cowboys Account to update your card details at any time. Please allow 5 business days for your payment method to be updated prior to any membership payment being deducted. 

51. We will also remind you to update your payment details when we send you renewal information.

OPTING OUT OF MEMBERSHIP

52. To opt out of membership for the following season, notify us in writing to membership@cowboys.com.au or by post to PO Box 1411, Townsville, Qld, 4810. We are not able to accept an opt-out request over the phone.

53. We will remind you how to opt-out when we provide you with renewal information.

54. If you opt-out of the renewal process:

   i. you will not receive any further renewal notices or reminders;

   ii. you will surrender your seats and any loyalty discounts attached;

   iii. your access to all other membership benefits will cease, including access to NRL ticket pre-sales, 10% off at the Cowboys Team Shop, 10% off home game tickets, eligibility to purchase the members polo etc. View cowboys.com.au/benefits for a full list of benefits.

55. If after opting out, you re-join as a member for the following season:

i. you will need to go through the membership application process again (including re-entering your personal and payment details);

ii. you will only be able to select from seats that are available to purchase by the public (with no guarantee your previous seats will still be available);

iii. your new membership will automatically renew for the following season unless you opt out again.

REFUNDS

56. Where a member has a right to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law, a refund will be provided.  

57. You may cancel membership at any time, however a refund will not be offered for change of mind or changes in personal circumstances.  

58. If a refund is granted, you will be required to return any merchandise supplied as part of your membership package, before a full or partial refund is paid to you.

59. If you are unable to return the merchandise, we reserve the right to deduct the retail cost of the merchandise from the refund amount, before remitting any remaining payment to you. 

HARDSHIP RELIEF

60. The Club has a Hardship Relief Request policy which outlines the process regarding a request by a member for payment relief or a refund because of changes in either personal or macroeconomic financial situations.

61. Please contact the membership team via email on membership@cowboys.com.au to request an application form if required.

CANCELLATION AND FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS

62. All members agree to the terms of entry of Queensland Country Bank Stadium as may be amended by the owner or operator of Queensland Country Bank Stadium from time to time. 

63. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your membershi if you breach the terms of entry of Queensland Country Bank Stadium, breach the Cowboys Members & Fans Code of Conduct or have been removed by security or police from Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

64. We may cancel part or all of an event to which your membership applies (including games and other events) (“Cowboys Event”) if an event outside our reasonable control occurs that impacts or may impact on the relevant Cowboys Event including, but not limited to, fire, storm, flood, tsunami, earthquake, explosion, war, invasion, rebellion, sabotage, epidemic, pandemic (including the Covid-19 pandemic), government intervention or orders (whether mandatory or recommended), labour dispute, labour shortage, failure or delay in transportation and act or omission of any third person (including the NRL, subcontractors, customers, governments or government agencies) (each such event a “Force Majeure Event”). If a Force Majeure Event occurs that affects a Cowboys Event, or the ability for a Cowboys Event to be held, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify you. However, where the event is sudden or last-minute, this may not be possible. While we do not offer refunds for Cowboys Events cancelled in whole or in part due to Force Majeure Events, before or after the Force Majeure Event occurs, we will contact you about whether the affected Cowboys Event will be rescheduled or what other options we may be able to offer to you.

65. We are not the owners or operators of Queensland Country Bank Stadium. We do not make any representation or warranty that your seat at the stadium (whether reserved or unreserved) will be unaffected by any of the Force Majeure Events referred to in clause 56 that may occur before, during or after a game or event. You acknowledge and agree that such Force Majeure Events are beyond our control and may impact on your enjoyment of, or ability to watch, an event or game.

COWBOYS LEAGUES CLUB MEMBERSHIP

66. Cowboys members over the age of 18 are entitled to receive a complimentary membership to the Cowboys Leagues Club (cowboysleagues.com.au) valued at $11. 

67. A person can only hold one Cowboys Leagues Club membership. If you are an existing Cowboys Leagues Club member, you will forfeit the above entitlement (as you cannot hold two Cowboys Leagues Club memberships).

68. Cowboys Leagues Club membership cannot be transferred to another person or listed in a family or company name.

69. You must provide your full date of birth with your membership application and in your membership account so we can verify your age. Cowboys members under the age of 18 cannot receive or use a Cowboys Leagues Club membership or access associated benefits.

70. Cowboys Leagues Club members receive 20% off food and drinks at the Cowboys Leagues Club and Podium Cafe. Due to licensing restrictions, children are unable to use another Cowboys member's Cowboys Leagues Club membership card to purchase food or drinks to access these discounts. 

71. Your Leagues Club membership is valid until 31 October 2025 and is subject to the conditions of entry for the Leagues Club, which you can read here: Entry requirements

72. Eligible members will be contacted by the Cowboys Leagues Club directly via email regarding when to collect your membership card, how to access your entitlements and terms and conditions of Cowboys Leagus Club membership.

NRL TICKET PRESALE ACCESS

74. From time to time the NRL releases tickets to members of all NRL clubs for a variety of events – including State of Origin, International Tests, NRL Finals series and the NRL Grand Final – prior to those tickets going on sale to the general public. These offers are subject to their own terms and conditions which can be access via the relevant Ticketing Provider. 

75. The Cowboys does not make any representation or give any warranty on behalf of the promoter of those in relation to these. Purchase entitlement codes are required to secure tickets for these types of events. These offers will be communicated electronically.

76. Full season members are entitled to first priority access to NRL Pre-Sales for State of Origin tickets and NRL tickets. First priority is defined as access to the NRL’s first buying window prior to general public on-sale.

77. All other Cowboys memberships are entitled to second priority access to NRL Pre-Sales for State of Origin tickets and NRL finals tickets. Second priority is defined as access to the NRL’s buying window prior to general public on-sale but following the full season ticketed members (first priority) buying window.

78. To receive information about NRL ticket pre-sales, you must be subscribed to NRL ticketing offers via the Cowboys communications preference centre.

MEMBER DISCOUNTS

79. Members are entitled to a 10% discount off home game tickets for family and friends. This discount can be accessed by using your membership number during the Ticketmaster purchase process for game day tickets. Please note that a maximum of four tickets can be purchased per game per member with this discount.

80. Members are entitled to a 10% discount off merchandise at the Cowboys Team Shop, excluding members’ polos. This discount can be accessed in person by showing your current membership card or online by logging into the Cowboys Team Shop using your MyCowboys username and password.

PRIVACY AND COMMUNICATION

81. The North Queensland Toyota Club’s primary means of communication is email however we may also need to contact you by phone or other methods about matters relating to your membership. You must inform us of any changes to your contact details and make sure your contact details are complete and correct.

82. When you join as a member, you consent to receiving:

   i. club updates and offers;

   ii. sponsor and partner offers; and

   iii. NRL ticketing offers (see clause 69-70, below).

83. You can unsubscribe or change your preferences for the types of emails you receive by following the link to the preference centre at the bottom of any Cowboys’ email.

84. While the Cowboys’ primary means of communication is email we may also need to contact you by phone or other methods about matters relating to your membership. You must inform us of any changes to your contact details and make sure your contact details are complete and correct.

85. Members can unsubscribe from Cowboys promotional emails at any time by visiting the preference centre or following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every Cowboys email.

86. It is a condition of membership that members give consent to Cowboys Rugby League Football Limited, its affiliates and agents, to use their image and likeness and/or any interview statements in its publications, advertising or other media activities (including the Internet), without compensation or other remuneration, now or in the future. By joining as a member, you provide this consent, and you represent that any others who use your membership also give the same consent.

87. We will need to collect personal information from you and persons on your membership account (such as your name, age and contact details). In providing this information to us, you agree to the terms of our privacy policy, which you can view here: Privacy Policy
