Put your remote controlled car skills to the test at a Cowboys home game and you could be in the running to win a brand-new set of wheels!

How it works: 

  • 2 lucky supporters will be selected to participate in the Toyota Track Time race at one of the first 10 home games during the 2025 NRL Premiership season.
  • Each participant will race a 12v remote controlled Toyota LandCruiser through an on-field racecourse.
  • The contestants with the two fastest times from the first 10 home games will then go head-to-head at the Saturday 30 August, Cowboys v Broncos match.
  • The winner from the Cowboys v Broncos Toyota Track Time final will win a brand-new Toyota Corolla!

TOYOTA TRACK TIME COMPETITION 2025

The Promoter is Cowboys Rugby League Football Limited, Hutchinson Builders Centre, 26 Graham Murray Place, Railway Estate QLD 4810. ABN: 28 060 382 961.

These terms and conditions apply to the 2025 Toyota Track Time competition, including the process we will use to select a grand prize winner. 

In these terms and conditions, we will refer to the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys as ‘the Cowboys’, ‘us’, ‘we and ‘our’. We will refer to a promotion participant as a ‘competitor’, ‘participant’, ‘you’ and ‘your’.

We will refer to the 2025 Toyota Track Time competition as ‘the promotion’ and ‘the competition’.

By participating in this promotion, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.

Nothing in these terms and conditions amends, limits or excludes any rights or remedies that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot lawfully be amended, limited or excluded.

Promotion details

1.            The Promotion commences at 12.00pm Friday, 7 March 2025 and closes at 9.00pm, Saturday, 30 August 2025.

2.            The Promotion comprises competitors racing a 12v remote controlled Toyota LandCruiser ride-on car at a Cowboys home game at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

3.            The 12v remote controlled Toyota LandCruiser ride-on car will be operated via remote control, with no one in the driver or passenger seats.

4.            The course will be set up between the tryline and 20 metre line on the field of play, and will remain identical for home games 1-10, pending weather conditions.

5.            For home games 1-10, two competitors will be pre-selected to compete in a race against each other.

6.            The race will end as soon as the first car has crossed the finish line, with only the winner of each individual race from home games 1-10 eligible to go in the running for the final race at home game 12.

7.            Should a car experience a technical issue or malfunction on game day, the associated competitor will be invited to return to compete at the following home game.

8.            Following home games 1-10, the competitors with the two fastest recorded times across the season will be invited to participate in the final race at home game 12. The time will be recorded once the entire car has crossed the finish line.

9.            The competitor at home game 12 whose remote control car successfully completes the course and whose entire car crosses the finish line first will have been deemed successful in Toyota Track Time and will win the grand prize.

Judging

10.        The competition will be adjudicated at each home game by an employee or contractor of the Cowboys.

11.        The position of Adjudicator may be held by a different person at each home game or stage of the competition.

12.        An Adjudicator will witness the recording of race times for each competitor so that the top two fastest competitors may be selected for the final race at home game 12.

13.        The Adjudicator will determine which competitor has won the final race at home game 12.

14.        The Adjudicator’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into on the result of each round.

Prize pool

15.        The grand prize is a new 2025 Toyota Corolla Hatch Hybrid CV Ascent Sport.

16.        The grand prize will be transferred to the winner within 14 business days following home game 12 on 30 August 2025.

17.        Each Toyota Track Time contestant for home games 1 – 10 will receive a double pass to the associated home game.

18.        Competitors who recorded the two fastest race times across home games 1 – 10 will each receive a double pass to the Eastern Grandstand at home game 12, Cowboys v Broncos on Saturday, 30 August 2025.

19.        Any prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The Cowboys accept no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Cowboys make no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, or merchantability of the prizes.

20.        The Cowboys are not responsible for any liability, loss or damage arising out of the use or enjoyment of the grand prize.

21.        The grand prize winner indemnifies the Cowboys against any liability, loss or damage arising out of the use or enjoyment of the grand prize.

Promotion eligibility

22.        Competitors must be aged 18 years or over as at 1 March 2025, to enter.

23.        To enter, competitors must submit an entry form at www.cowboys.com.au/toyota-track-time

24.        Cowboys 2025 consumer members, corporate members and fans (the public) may enter the draw to be selected for the race.

25.        As a condition of entry, you must agree to receive offers and news from the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys delivered to your inbox in accordance with the Cowboys privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time at our preference centre

26.        Any travel, accommodation or out-of-pocket costs accrued by participants to compete in the Promotion will be at their own expense.

Competition selection and forfeiture

27.        A competitor will be drawn randomly from all eligible entry forms two business days before each home game for home games 1-10.

28.        Entry forms that are not drawn for a home game will be carried over for selection for the next home game until home game 10. 

29.        The competitor drawn for each home game will be contacted by phone two business days before that game to confirm they have been selected. If the competitor is not contactable, they will forfeit their selection for that game.

30.        If the competitor cannot confirm their ability to participate at the time of our call, they will forfeit their selection for that game.

31.        If a competitor is not contactable or cannot confirm their ability to participate, their entry form will be returned to the pool of eligible entries for future games.  

32.        If an entry form is returned to the pool of entries, there is no guarantee that the entrant will again be randomly selected to compete in the promotion at future home games.

33.        If a competitor forfeits their position in the competition for any reason, another competitor will be randomly drawn from eligible entries if time allows.

34.        If a competitor forfeits after gates open on the day of their game, the Cowboys reserves the right to select a competitor from outside of the entry pool (i.e. a member of the public) to ensure the competition can proceed as scheduled.

35.        On game day, the competitor must arrive 90 minutes before kick-off to meet their Cowboys contact. If this does not happen, the competitor will be disqualified from the promotion, and the Cowboys will draw another entrant from the entry pool or the crowd. Only competitors who take part in the promotion on field will be eligible for a consolation prize or a minor prize.

Promotion requirements

36.        Unless excluded by law, Cowboys shall not be liable for any loss, injury, death, or damage to persons or property which at any time may be suffered or sustained by the competitor taking part in the Promotion.

37.        By entering this Promotion, you acknowledge and agree that you accept this risk.

38.        If you are selected as a competitor in the Promotion but cannot participate for ANY reason, you may choose to either nominate a replacement competitor OR forfeit your position in the competition.

39.        If you nominate a replacement, that person will take your place as the official competitor in the Promotion and will assume all rights and obligations of any other competitor, including ownership of any prizes won due to their participation. If you nominate a replacement you cannot return to the competition at a later stage if your circumstances change.

40.        If you nominate a replacement, the Cowboys accepts no liability for disputes arising between you and the competitor over their participation in the Promotion or ownership of prizes.

Claiming Prize Requirements

41.        For the winner to claim the grand prize, the winner must provide their ID or current drivers licence at the Townsville Toyota Dealer (unless otherwise advised by the Cowboys).

42.        The winner must also agree to have their photo/vision captured with the grand prize for use on Cowboys media channels.

General terms

43.        We may cancel part or all of Promotion if an event outside our reasonable control occurs that impacts or may impact on the relevant Promotion including, but not limited to, fire, storm, flood, tsunami, earthquake, explosion, war, invasion, rebellion, sabotage, epidemic, pandemic (including the Covid-19 pandemic), government intervention or orders (whether mandatory or recommended), labour dispute, labour shortage, failure or delay in transportation and act or omission of any third person (including the NRL, subcontractors, customers, governments or government agencies) (each such event a “Force Majeure Event”).

44.        If a Force Majeure Event occurs that affects the Promotion, or the ability for it to be held, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify you. However, this may be impossible if the event is sudden or last-minute. While we do not offer compensation for cancelled promotions in whole or in part due to Force Majeure Events, before or after the Force Majeure Event occurs, we will contact you about whether the affected Promotion will be rescheduled or what other options we may be able to offer to you.

45.        All participants agree to the terms of entry of Queensland Country Bank Stadium as may be amended by the owner or operator of Queensland Country Bank Stadium from time to time.  We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your participation in the Promotion if you breach the terms of entry of Queensland Country Bank Stadium, breach the Cowboys Members & Fans Code of Conduct or have been removed by security or police from Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Communication and privacy

46.        The Cowboys’ primary means of communication is email. However, we may also need to contact you by phone or other methods about your participation in the Promotion. You must inform us of any changes to your contact details and make sure your contact details are complete and correct.

47.        It is a condition of participation that you give your consent to the Cowboys its affiliates and agents, to use your image and likeness and/or any interview statements in our publications, advertising or other media activities (including the Internet), without compensation or other remuneration, now or in the future.
